About aespa

aespa is a 4-member K-pop girl group under SM Entertainment, who debuted in 2020. The official fandom name is MY, and concert lightstick is the Marshmallow Bong.

SM Entertainment groups now route ticketing through the unified Bubble platform after the 2024 Lysn migration. MY renewal is annual, generally around April, and the SM checkout has improved Apple Pay support significantly through 2025–2026. Discover cards remain flaky on the SM-shared KCP flow; Apple Pay is now our preferred US-fan fallback.

For step-by-step ticket strategy, the Buying K-pop tickets from the US guide covers the timeline that works for every major group; the Fan-club membership checklist is a printable shortlist of the MY renewal windows you should be tracking before any 2026 tour rumor.

What we're tracking on aespa

aespa is structurally the most unusual major group to plan tours for, because SM Entertainment runs the KWANGYA worldview as a parallel content layer that sometimes drives standalone events (SYNK OUT, MD: ME, etc.) on top of the regular tour cycle. These standalone events use the same MY membership but separate ticket flows, and they often go on sale 2–3 weeks before the main tour leg announcement — so MY members who *only* renewed for tour access sometimes miss them.

The MY membership (via SM's unified Lysn → Bubble migration) is on a calendar renewal cycle (annually around April), but the SM payment gateway (KCP-shared with HYBE/JYP for cross-agency purchases) has a higher Discover rejection rate than the JYP-direct flow. The SM official store has improved Apple Pay support significantly through 2025–2026, which is now our preferred fallback for US fans.

The May 2026 Karina x Chanel coverage (싱글리스트, financial press) is functionally a brand-equity moment that historically precedes a tour announcement by 60–120 days for SM groups — we'd watch for a tour signal in late summer 2026.
