NewJeans

NewJeans is the most operationally complex K-pop fandom to track in 2026. The ADOR–HYBE legal situation that ran through 2024–2025 left a residue: Phining (the standalone NewJeans membership platform launched after the public ADOR boundary dispute) sits *outside* HYBE's Weverse ecosystem entirely, which is rare for a HYBE-adjacent group and changes the entire payment flow.

The May 2026 reporting (Sports Chosun, MK Sports) flagging a possible Minji-led 4-member regroup is the first credible signal of group activity since late 2024. We're treating it as a "watch closely" rather than confirmed, but the operational implication is real: if a NewJeans tour does land in 2026, the Phining auto-renewal members will have first access — and the iOS/Android Phining app availability has been uneven in the US market.

Phining's quarterly ($22 USD per quarter, ~28,000 KRW) auto-renewal is genuinely better for tour planning than annual cycles — you can't "forget" the renewal because it's already paid. The downside: a 6-month away period costs you 2 charges instead of 0. For US fans without a Korean phone number, the web version at phining.io with Google login is the most reliable fallback.
